MASTER CLEANSE DAY 2

  • Salt water flush first thing in the morning on empty stomach.
  • Lemonade (fresh lemons, maple syrup, purified water and cayenne pepper)
  • Mint tea and water
  • Herbal laxative before bed

HEALTH MEASURE = My husband and I are tag teaming the toilet like a professional WWE team! For me, caffeine withdrawal SUCKS. Headache, nausea, tired… brain dead. Later in the day, dry heaves and migraine. It wound up being an afternoon and evening of (((BED REST))) for me… My husband got cold after taking the laxative treatments and had a minor hunger headache and rumbly tummy.

DO NOT FART UNLESS SITTING ON THE TOILET

One might think that the whiteness of our tongues meant that my husband had more candida in his system then I did… My tongue was pinker (a supposed indication of better health). HOWEVER, the reintroduction of fibro symptoms is the reason for embarking on this journey. Had I been concerned with just candida; I would have been taking oregano and not detoxing.

According to the Master Cleanse, there is a way to ease detox symptoms…  Eat a light vegetarian diet filled with fruits and vegetables the day before you start your master cleanse. Include fresh juice if possible. Preparing your body this way will make it easier to ease into this cleanse.” I ate a full-on fat and sugar filled Christmas dinner (steak, lobster and cheesecake). It was delicious and I would not have changed it. NOTE TO SELF = start when I am willing to follow recommendations from the book.
